We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24-hour advance notice is requested when canceling an appointment. This allows us the opportunity to schedule someone else for this time slot. If you are unable to provide adequate notice, you may be charged a $25 service fee, as we have likely turned away other appointments or opportunities to honor your scheduled appointment. If you miss your appointment entirely with no notice/communication, there is a 50% charge. This amount must be paid prior to your next visit.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session you booked. For example: If your appointment is at 2 pm, and you arrive at 2:03 pm, then need time to stop in the restroom and get situated for your scheduled appointment, your session will still end at 3 pm as scheduled. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Clients who develop a pattern of habitual cancellations/rescheduled appointments will be dismissed from our practice.
If you book a session and plan to use a gift certificate, but do not show up for your session, your gift certificate will be considered redeemed. Gift certificates and eGifts must be presented at the time of service.
